Project Finance Business Partner

The largest organisation of its kind in the UK, providing invaluable support to vulnerable children and their families and to children with special educational needs, is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to work on a major project. One of the organisation's sites will be undergoing major changes over the course of 2021, and the Project Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in this.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Quickly gaining an excellent understanding of each service area and providing support to budget holders, considering new and alternative solutions to minimise costs and maximise resources
• Taking a lead role from a finance perspective in the major change project to their Wokingham site
• Bringing commercial awareness to decision making when developing new business strategies and/or operating models
• Working with department Heads and other budget holders to contribute to the financial strategic direction of each service area
• Weekly travel to Wokingham

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience working in a complex organisation
• Have advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Be an excellent Finance Business Partner with proven ability to build strong relationships and to manage challenging stakeholders
• Have experience working in the social care sector, and/or a service-providing organisation
