The role will support the Group FP&A function in preparing monthly management reporting and short / medium-term business forecasts, in providing insightful management information regarding performance against plans, and in performing analyses to support the Executive Management Team. The position will also provide support and input to key financial reporting judgements in the course of each financial year.

Description
* Manage the delivery of monthly financial management information for the business including, but not limited to, the Group management accounts, Wins, losses and renewals reporting
* Provide insight and analysis of results, identifying underlying trends and challenging the business on performance
* Support the Group Head of FP&A in delivering the end to end budgeting and forecasting processes throughout the year. Develop and own the models used, ensuring they are robust, controlled and continue to meet the changing needs of the business
* Develop short, medium and long term cashflow forecasting, working with the Treasury and other central finance teams to ensure a robust view is maintained on business liquidity
* Working via the Group Head of FP&A, support the Executive Management Team, including the CFO, through the creation, update and maintenance of financial planning and scenario models to support the raising of external finance, negotiations with Pension trustees, evaluation of acquisition targets and ad hoc analyses as required
* Provide support to the Group Financial Controller and Head of Corporate Reporting in the drafting of papers to support key financial reporting judgements throughout the course of the year
* Maintain rolling view on risks and opportunities for the Group, keeping the Group Head of FP&A and Group Finance Controller appraised of changes
* Work with central finance teams and support functions on ad hoc projects as required, including to improve business profitability
* Proactively establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (financial and non-financial) across the business
Profile
*Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAEW) with minimum 3-4 years PQE, gained in a practice environment
* Highly numerate with strong excel and modelling skills
* A track record of success gained in supporting a fast-paced and customer focused business
* Ability to communicate in a clear and articulate manner - strong, clear written English is a must
* An influencer and catalyst for change; able to achieve goals through others
