Dartmouth are working exclusively with a prolific mid-market Private Equity house to identify a CFO for their most recent acquisition. The business, a market leader in their space, provides an innovative software product to the banking sector. Operating on a Software-as-a-Service model the company has achieved 35% YOY growth for the past few years and, with the new backing from Private Equity, are expecting to continue this impressive trajectory both domestically and internationally.

The CFO will be a pivotal position for the business. As the first true finance hire within the company, they will be expected to partner closely with the CEO and founder, take a lead on business strategy and lead the company to a successful exit within a 3 to 5 year time frame.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee the financial and commercial functions across the group
  • Partner with the CEO to bring the strategic vision of the business to life
  • Developing and executing an exit strategy for the business
  • Cultivating stakeholder relationships internally and externally
  • Take an active role in developing and driving the strategic focus of the organisation
  • Ensure appropriate investment and delivery against a multi-million dollar technology development plan
  • Monitor banking activities of the organisation
  • Review and monitoring of Group statutory accounts & tax position, calculations and filings
  • Overseeing legal & employment matters, and the management of equity incentives and payroll.

Key Requirements:

  • Significant Experience working within investment backed businesses
  • Experience working within a B2B SaaS revenue stream model is essential
  • Planning and delivering an exit strategy would be highly desirable
  • Chartered Accountant or similar qualification
  • Extensive experience in developing relationships with demanding stakeholders
