Senior Client Accountant - London

Senior Client Accountant, Residential - Our Client is a growing residential investment and management company that provide high level of services in the residential property industry and due to a significant increase in their portfolio size they are looking for a strong and qualified Senior Client Accountant to join their growing finance team.

The Role includes but is not limited to:

• Taking full ownership of a portfolio of c. 6-7 properties, amassing to 600 units.
• Being responsible for the deposit accounting and ensuring that it is correctly reconciled.
• Reporting and answering any account queries clients may have.
• Conducting weekly bank reconciliations up to trial balance.
• Ensuring to efficiently post all journals for that portfolio.
• Conducting regular expenditure analysis.
• Providing the Head of Finance with assistance into the analysis and reconciliations of intercompany reports.
• Calculating monthly accruals and prepayments.
• Actively assisting client audits.
• Working alongside the Head of Finance in improving in house practices and procedures.
• Ensuring to maintain clear records up to the highest standards.

The Person: would be expected to come from a strong accounting background with no less than 3 years prime accounting experience. You will be preferably ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified with previous experience in a residential accounting setting. This role requires you to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to lay out information clearly and coherently for clients.
