Project Analyst

Project Finance Analyst, Media, 2-3 Month Contract, £285 per day

I have an exciting short-term contract for a Project Finance Analyst within a large Media Network. Working within the Income Project team and providing support to the Financial Reporting team on process improvement and performance.

Key Accountabilities:

The Project Financial Analyst will be required to perform the following tasks:

Billings and Income Standardisation Project (basic principles)

• Develop process or reporting solutions for billings and income
• Develop new standardised reports in excel, or a more appropriate application
• Test the solution to ensure it has met the financial reporting requirements
• Rollout the optimal solution across all Brands
• Provide training to end users on the new processes

Primary tasks:

• Learn about the billings and income processes for the business
• Develop new processes and documentation on how to perform the month-end accounting for billings and income
• Develop a tool to perform variance analysis on actual versus forecast revenue on a client, media/channel level
• Create a process to support automated and more accurate processing of accrued and deferred income 

Secondary tasks:

• New accounting templates for media system based accrued income
• Design and implement new templates that need to be created for key revenue related journals because of implementing new processes
• Create Accrued and deferred income calculation templates to improve the efficiency of posting complex calculations each month-end
