Interim Financial Controller

6-12 month contract reporting directly to the Finance Director.

Responsible for developing processes throughout the finance function.

The client is an international engineering business, looking to bring someone in to support the UK business with various accounting processes and projects. The company is based in Weybridge and offering a 6-12 month contract.

Description

The role requires a proven Financial Controller, within the engineering space would be ideal, available to start in the next few weeks to support the business for a 6-12 month contract. The role will require:

- Legal entity accounting

- Internal and external audit support

- Review financial processes and support with improvements and developments

- Tax and VAT advise to the business

- Resolve disputes relating to inter-company agreements

- Internal controls and risk management

- SAP knowledge

- Identify valuable initiatives for the wider business and implement these

- Strong business partnering with stakeholders all over the world

Profile

The successful candidate will be a proven Financial Controller, work well autonomously and enjoy project work. This role is vital to improve initiatives across the business at a strategic level.

The role requires someone with a strong technical background first and foremost. The role will be starting imminently and lasting for 6-12 months so needs someone that is able to commit for the entire assignment.

Job Offer

The successful candidate could look at a daily rate or fixed term contract. It will depend on the background and level of the person.
