Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant with experience of preparing management accounts information to join our team. Currently the role is homebased with occasional attendance to our offices in Newton Abbot. The position is available on a full time (36.25 hours a week), permanent basis.  

You will provide support and assistance to the Finance Business Partner to produce the monthly management accounts promptly and accurately to agreed formats. You will work with budget holders to prepare annual budgets and lead on the preparation of management accounts information for property services, fixed assets, and development.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to further their career in accounts or for somebody studying for a C.C.A.B or CIMA qualification.

Is this you?:

  • Able to prepare management accounts information
  • Studying for a C.C.A.B or CIMA qualification
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Powerpoint and Publisher with intermediate skills using Excel.
  • Comfortable and capable of explaining financial results and implications to non-financial people  
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Able to work 36.25 per week
