Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join a market leading business based in South Manchester.
Due to the continued success and growth of the business a Management Accountant is required to join an established finance team.
The purpose of the role will be to work closely with the senior leadership team and be responsible for the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual MI reporting.
Core Responsibilities:
• Co- ordinate and Prepare management accounts to final review stage, including variance analysis and commentary against budget / forecast.
• Distribution of internal MI.
• Business partnering with relevant managers, providing them with insightful and timely information to meet their business needs.
• Assist the Financial Controller with the monthly forecast & budget, focusing on P&L areas / accruals/debtors/vat.
• Support submission of statutory accounts.
• Create and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
• Part Qualified / Newly Qualified.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel.
• Technically astute, with the ability to apply technical accounting knowledge to practical situations.
• Innovative and solution focused with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
