Financial Planning Lead - NHS

The NHS are working with Dartmouth Partners to identify a financial planning lead to partner and drive financial performance with the operational teams of a key NHS trust.  The project will be extremely high profile and partner a number of stakeholders in this fast paced, operationally focused capacity.  The assignment is likely to last for 6-12 months and will operate on a remote basis for the right candidate.  There is also the chance this role could go permanent.  Reporting into the CFO, your key deliverables will include:

• Working with the COO & operational heads to support and drive key decisions on operational performance
• Preparing, coordinating and presenting data on the operational performance of the trust and all of its sites
• Responsibility for all financial planning, forecasting and analytical processes
• Driving a significant number of financial and operational performance processes
• Ad hoc projects where required

The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background with significant operationally driven finance experience.  Previous experience of working within the NHS would be highly sought after but healthcare sector knowledge will also be considered.  Strong presentation and business partnering skills are essential.
