Finance Manager - Transportation & Logistics Business

Our client, a large and successful transportation and Logistics Business, is looking to bring on a Finance Manager to join their team in London to drive forward one of their new divisions.

Description

For this Finance Manager role we are looking for someone who is a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA), who is looking for a role focusing on planning and management information. You will have sound technical accounting knowledge as well; and whilst transportation and logistics experience are desirable, they are not a pre-requisite for this role.

This is an all-round role which will give you great exposure to a number of areas across the business, and will also take responsibility for the statutory accounts, working alongside and with the various tax teams.

Profile

Professional finance qualification in either ACA / CIMA / ACCA (and ideally more than 3 years PQE)

Strong technical financial experience, preferably within a complex global company - not essential

Experienced in accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations

Proficient in producing, understanding and interpreting complex/technical information clearly and concisely for both finance and non-finance audiences

Demonstrable experience of developing a deep understanding of financial results, including P&L drivers, balance sheet results, business metrics, and other key trends

Job Offer

Up to £75k Basic salary plus bonus and progression plan
