Financial Reporting Automation and Improvement Controller

SF Recruitment are currently working with a manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton in the recruitment of an interim Financial Process Automation and Improvement Controller.

This is an interim assignment due to last approximately 3-6 months with a view to beginning immediately.

My client is currently going through a significant period of change due to the recent acquisition of a business into their group. With this in mind the current Finance Director now requires assistance in the production of meaningful reports.
The successful applicant will be responsible for creating and automating reports using Jet reporting software and Power BI. It would also be ideal if they possessed VBA, SQL and advanced Excel skills.
It is essential that applicants have prior Finance experience and are either Qualified By Experience or ACCA/ CIMA qualified so you are able to communicate effectively with the Finance Director to understand his wants and the businesses needs.

My client is seeking a candidate who is immediately available and this is an urgent requirement.

Interviews will take place via Zoom and you will be mainly working from home with the occasional bit of travel into the office to work with internal stakeholders. This of course would be under strict social distancing guidelines.
