Our Client is an SME Bank who need to hire a Business Analyst to work on a Regulatory Change Project. You will join from the start and see it through to completion. The role is for 12 months and pays a Fixed Term salary of £60,000.
The Project is to ensure the Bank is 100% compliant with CRR2 rules. As part of the project team, you will be working with Vermeg consultants, developers and IT solution architects. You will also liaise with the Regulatory Reporting team very closely as they are the end user.
This is a great opportunity to work on a change project with an experienced Lead Business Analyst/Project Manager and Head of Regulatory Reporting. The main responsibilities are:
· Assist Project Manager to prepare project status packs, including a project health and RAID
· Work with relevant SMEs to understand the detailed requirements of CRR 2
· Perform a regulatory gap analysis
· Conduct roadshows and education sessions to stakeholders and BAU users
· Working with stakeholders to assist in data mining and solution designed to ensure buy-in
· Working with Vermeg consultants to ensure accurate calculation and reporting based on CRR 2 rules
· You will assist the PM with test planning and will execute testing and defect remediation.
Skills and experience:
- You must have worked in regulatory reporting and be able to demonstrate a history of working on projects and regulatory change for at least 3 years
- You will have a strong foundation and working knowledge of the technical rules regarding Credit Risk, Counterparty Risk, Market Risk, Large Exposures, Leverage ratio and NSFR
You will be skilled at working with numerous stakeholders (including IT consultants and developers, as well as working with third party regulatory solution software providers) and show strong communication skills to provide clear messages concisely. There is a large volume of data so strong analytical and interrogation skills to manipulate the data is also required.
Ideally you will have a numeric degree and/or qualification.
This is 12 month fixed term contract paying £60,000.
