Based in Luton, Bedfordshire, we are currently recruiting for a FP&A Manager join our client on a permanent, full time basis.

The successful individual will be a qualified accountant who has experience working in a fast-paced environment. The FP&A Manager will be responsible for the development and modelling of financial plans as well as reporting financial performance to non-finance department heads.

The company is a well-known, reputable business with over 50 years' experience and locations across over 60 countries.

This job would suit someone with a solid financial background and a strong knowledge of excel financial models. It is essential the candidate has excellent communication and reporting skills as well as proven experience working with non-finance department heads, you will be able to drive things forward whilst having an analytical approach.

Job responsibilities:

• Long-term financial planning modelling, including business plans, budgeting, and forecasting throughout the year
• Ownership of the budgeting processes from a top-down perspective and bottom-up with the operations teams, ensuring buy-in and challenge in setting targets
• Evolution and production of Board & Exec reports to summarise business performance on a monthly basis and highlight key opportunities and risks
• Overview of operational reporting and moving to a more streamlined, automated way of working
• Cost efficiency targeting and tracking
• Understanding and driving the use of financial systems to ensure optimal performance
• Finance lead on various project teams, able to understand the implications and bigger picture
