Finance Manager

A growing division of a sizeable European business located within easy reach of the M62/M6 is currently searching for a new Finance Manager to join its UK team. Based in Warrington, this is a full-time, permanent role.

Your New Role

This is a fabulous role where you would be fully responsible for the finance function for the UK business, reporting into the Managing Director but with a dotted line into the European Finance Director.

Key duties of the Finance Manager will include:

• Being fully responsible for the production of management accounts for the UK.
• Business partnering with non-financial managers to analyse performance, ensure budgets are set and adhered to.
• Working very closely with Board Directors to aid in strategic decision making to steer the overall business.
• Although stand alone to begin with, you will be tasked with recruiting and managing a couple of direct reports so the ability to lead and motivate a small team would be desirable.

About You

The ideal Finance Manager will be fully Qualified (or equivalent) and demonstrate:

• A solid background in financial analysis, group reporting and advanced Excel.
• Preferably you would also have previous experience in logistics and or retail and stock experience would also be especially useful.

Salary

On offer for the Finance Manager will be a salary of £40,000 - £47,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits.
