Commercial Finance Controller

Commercial Finance Controller position delivering the short to medium business strategy for this rapidly growing PE backed Pharmaceutical organisation that has a well established and reputable brand.

Description

The Commercial Finance Controller will be responsible for a range of activities including business partnering directly with the business unit leaders to add value across multiple business units, driving the short to medium term strategy and ultimately profitability across a number or products in preparation to sell the business.

This is a highly autonomous opportunity looking for someone who can interact with high level stakeholders from CFO, CEO and the private equity owners in a fasted paced industry and understands the demands of working in commercial finance. You will also present regularly to all level on managerial stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with business unit leader on key Strategic Projects for a variety of business cases
• Lead business case analysis to assess success of projects, including monthly P&L variance reporting.
• Working directly with the CFO looking into sales trends, market analysis & profit analysis.
• Ad-hoc finance projects as required i R&D opportunities

Profile

To be successful, you will be qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA and ideally be from a practice trained background and have gained post qualification experience in a strategic leadership position. You will have developed strong commercial strategies and executed these inline with commercial projects. Ideally worked in a Private Equity backed environment and prepared the business to sell. CV's should have clear career progression, without too many moves.

The successful candidates will be results driven, with a proven experience of successfully achieving goals. First class planning and prioritisation skills, and being commercially astute.

Job Offer

A salary of £90,000-£100,000 depending on experience. A competitive benefits package - Bonus, PMI, Pension, 25 days holiday.
