Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Payroll and HR Administrator to join a marketing leading organisation based in Rotherham. Forward thinking and innovative, this organisation have a modern open plan office, on-site parking and an inclusive company culture. This is a dual role with Payroll being the primary focus and HR support to the wider HR team. This is a 12 month maternity role, with potential for extension.
The successful candidate will have the following duties:
- Assisting with the monthly payroll process
- Processing starters and leavers and sending out relevant paperwork
- Calculating maternity, paternity, sickness and absences
- Dealing with payroll related queries
- Responsible for inputting and amending employee pay details
- Tax codes & pension
- Upkeep/maintenance and development of the HR and Payroll System
- HR activities and preparing and amending HR documents i. employment contracts and offer letters for new hires, new starter administration, probation, absence and exit administration
- Attending HR related meetings & disciplinary hearings
- Be self-motivated and able to prioritise and organise own workload
- Have excellent time management skills
- Be able to work to strict deadlines
- General support to the payroll and HR departments as required
Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:
- 1-2 years' experience within a similar role
- Confident, professional attitude with the ability to liaise with individuals at varying
levels internal/external to the organisation
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a personable approach
- Excellent Microsoft office systems skills
- Able to handle work with varied/large amounts of personal and confidential information
- Experience working in a payroll function
