Finance Manager - Immediate Start

My client is a fast growth VC-backed SME Manufacturing company, t/o £5m,  based in Sheffield.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a great career opportunity for an immediately available Finalist/qualified accountant who possesses strong hands-on accounts production experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Management and production of all core day to day accounting activities, operating on a Xero Accounting platform.
• Production of timely monthly management accounts with associated commentary.
• Production of annual statutory accounts, liaising with the Auditors.
• Cashflow management.
• Support the FD to develop robust "bottom up" annual Budget process and regular forecasting exercises.
• Support the FD with stakeholder reporting requirements with the Bank and VC backers.

The ideal candidate will either have trained in Practice with strong Accounts Prep experience or alternatively have gained a strong hands-on Finance grounding operating in a similar SME sized business.

You must also have solid Excel skills and be able to demonstrate the confidence and potential to develop the role by getting fully involved across the business.

Due to the pressing demands on the FD, it is vital that the selected successful candidate is available to roll their sleeves up and get started by 1st February latest.
