Business Analyst

Our client are a niche and high performing business based in Telford. They are currently looking to bring on board a Business Analyst with experience working within a successful expanding business. You will also have core finance experience in order to deputise for the Financial Controller when required.

Key duties:

- Develop a system to provide the "single source of the truth" in terms of data sets
- Act as the link to the Group IT team for transfer and integration of these data sets financial analysis on multiple revenue streams
- Development of weekly and monthly dashboards providing standard metrics
- Utilising data from non-finance systems
- Developing reports and analysis to give insight into operational costs
- Tracking of actual and committed versus budgets
- Support the delivery of key reports, data and analysis for: Shareholders/Finance providers
- Support preparation of detailed business plans and financial models
- Providing key business insight to the senior management teams and stakeholders
- Support preparation of periodic reporting, budgeting, and forecasting of the Group's financial performance
- Assist in continuous improvement of management reporting packs
- Being a key member of the Finance team providing financial support to the operational and Commercial teams
- Supporting the CEO & Finance Director with ad-hoc projects. This could range from acquisitions through to general business strategy ideas and Cash flow forecasting for project work
