Payroll Officer - Blackpool - Public Sector Organisation - Temporary

Your new company
You will be working within a public services organisation who have the need to bring in a Payroll Officer on a temporary basis until at least the end of April 2021.


Your new role
This role requires you to work in a fast-paced environment. Your ultimate role will be to maintain payroll related records, including income tax, national insurance, pensions, statutory sick pay and maternity pay. Whilst also providing full payroll services such as; end-to-end payroll management, processing starters and leavers, insurance calculations. It is crucial that you will be able to keep up to date with all relevant legislation and work closely with the Payroll Team Leader on a daily basis.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of the entire payroll process from start to finish. Ideally this will be from another public sector organisation but not essential. You will have good experience of payroll legislation and will be strong user of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
