Our client are a well-established organisation with a focus on community development, education and affordable living. As a leading service provider our client are passionate about communities and creating partnerships to promote enterprise and development. The Finance Manager will join the business at an exciting time of change and progressive working. This role is for a Qualified accountant on a permanent basis ranging from £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.

Your new role
The Finance Manager role is a leadership role responsible for a small team of 3 in Finance. The role will oversee end-end accounting operations for the business and 2 subsidiaries including Financial and Management accounting operations. Managing a varied team, you will be responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and completion of the Statutory Annual Financial Statements. You will oversee AP and AR functions alongside the preparation and monitoring of annual revenue budget and long-term financial forecasting and cash flows with the Director.

Part of the management team you will offer insight, guidance, financial planning and analysis experience to build and improve the finance function and support the wider organisations strategy.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Accountant with some post qualification experience gained and strong leadership experience with an ability to lead and motivate a steam. This role requires a strong people person who will have visibility across various service areas and it is essential that the Finance Manger can add value and contribute to the development of the business. It is highly preferred that candidates have experience working within the not for profit sector and are genuinely keen to make an impact on the business.
