System Implementation Accountant - 12 month FTC

A leading residential developer is looking to recruit a systems implementation accountant to work as part of the project team to deliver a reliable IT system to the business. The new system will streamline reporting, improve visibility and aid decision making across the business.

This is a high-profile role as you will be working with all areas of the business. 

You will have an accounting background and be able to deal with current month-end queries and reporting issues. As part of the project team you will implement, support, and then maintain the new COINS ERP solution. This is a significant project that will require your support for the duration of its year-long implementation.

Duties will include:

• Day-to-day operation and maintenance of finance systems plus the administration and development of planning & reporting tools.
• Act as a bridge between the finance and IT teams to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Document and train others on new procedures and solutions.
• Support the delivery and testing of new finance systems.
• Work with stakeholders across all business departments.
• Upskill the regional finance and operational teams with training, documentation, and workshops - helping drive standardised finance practices/policies across the group.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc data and management information.
• Problem solve queries and issues from across the business.
• Work with group Finance to ensure any new or changes in accounting standards are actively embedded as necessary into our systems and processes
• Work closely with the IT and business intelligence teams to update and enhance system capabilities.

Person

• 3+ years’ experience in systems management or a similar role.
• Construction Industry ERP or proven transferable skills from other ERP systems.
• Anaplan, COINS or Cognos experience.
• Comfortable training others on systems.
• Ability to communicate and influence with people at all levels
