Financial Analyst

Ignata Finance are delighted to be exclusively recruiting a Part-Qualified Financial Analyst for this global technology business based in Surrey.

The core responsibilities of the team consist of Commercial Development, Business Partnering, Financial & KPI Reporting, FP&A, Treasury and Compliance (Tax, VAT and Legal). The department also run, or take part in, a number of projects, covering areas from acquisitions to internal audit.

This team has recently been overhauled, making this an exciting time to join in a period of change and improvement. This provides an excellent opportunity for the right individual to grow this part of the department and create a reputation for themselves. The Finance Analyst needs to be someone who is task-orientated, driven to succeed and a natural self-starter.

The core responsibilities are as follows:

¨ Produce weekly and monthly performance reports

¨ Assist with month end procedures

¨ Monitor accruals and balance sheet control accounts

¨ Assist with cash forecasting and treasury management

¨ Assist with budget and forecast production

¨ Assist the team to manage and improve the process and control environment

¨ Liaise with other areas of the business on legal, financial, and commercial matters

¨ Assist on ad hoc commercial projects

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

¨ Equivalent of a part-qualified accountant

¨ Working towards a recognised qualification

¨ Advanced excel skills

¨ Good oral and written communication skills a prerequisite

¨ Excellent interpersonal skills

¨ Articulate, persuasive, confident, possessing sound intellect

¨ Ability to work calmly whilst under the pressure of deadlines

¨ Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
