Our client is a highly profitable private equity backed business that is seeking to appoint a new Group CFO. The business currently turns over c £100 million, is cash generative, and has a clear business plan to maximise returns upon exit.
Working closely with the CEO, the CFO will play a key strategic role on the board, and be instrumental in all ongoing operational and commercial matters.
The Role
As the CFO, your key responsibilities will include:
- Partner with the CEO, Directors and Investors in developing and monitoring the Business Plan, and driving the growth and performance of the business
- Execute the current M&A / divestment strategy
- Continue to professionalise the finance function, improving processes and controls to provide scalable infrastructure to support growth plans
- Implement best in class strategic planning and commercial analysis, including implementation of a KPI suite, and robust investment appraisals
Candidate Requirements
The successful CFO will have the following requirements:
- Highly commercial, able to contribute to the board both operationally and strategically
- Private Equity savvy, with previous CFO experience of operating in a leveraged environment
- Immediate gravitas, to manage external stakeholders, including banks and investors
- An impressive track record in executing business plans
- Requisite energy levels to drive the business forward and ultimately deliver a successful exit
In addition to a competitive salary of circa £140K per annum, the successful CFO will be rewarded with an excellent benefits package including Bonus / Equity
