Finance Manager

The Finance & Accountancy Division at SF Recruitment is working on an urgent requirement for a Finance Manager. This is a permanent full time role based in Leicester. This is a number 1 position in finance, reporting directly to the Director. A willingness to take a hands-on approach to both staff management and the preparation of financial information is necessary to facilitate the smooth running of the finance department and meet the needs of the business.

As the Finance Manager, you will be fully responsible for:
- Monthly management accounts production with commentary on analysis
- Monthly Reporting on all aspects of the business for presentation to the board
- Analysis of accounts and management reports
- Maintenance of financial controls
- Cash forecasting and cash management
- Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Identifying and managing balance sheet risks/ opportunities
- Ensuring accurate company accounting records are processed and recorded in accordance with the law and Company standards
- Oversee all billing, accounting and payroll processes
- Annual Budgeting process
- Annual financial Audit
- Weekly Cash Flow forecasting
- Aged Debt analysis and supervision of collection of historic debts
- Continuous improvement & documentation of all finance functions
- Overall responsibility for a team of 3

My client is looking for a Finance Manager who is able to demonstrate the below:
- Suitable professional qualification - ACCA/ CIMA or QBE
- Experience with Sage Line 50
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Hands-on and positive attitude
