My client is a leading financial services organisation.
Description
- To manage and oversee consolidation, production, analysis and reporting of high quality and timely statutory, regulatory, other industry & government bodies' reports.
- To manage and oversee the consolidated reporting to the Group along with commentary and analysis for presentation to senior management.
- To support the high quality and timely management information reporting of KPIs under IFRS.
- To manage the relationship with overseas reporting teams to ensure receipt of information and provision of required analysis within the reporting timescales.
- Maintain a high level of accountancy knowledge and understanding of multiple different reporting bases (e. IFRS, S2) in order to ensure a comprehensive consultancy service can be provided to business decision makers.
- To manage the reporting timeline, underlying processes and external audit requirements of the team.
- Lead to ensure all data is prepared and reported in accordance with relevant reporting standards and business reporting requirements.
- Manage and develop a team to maximise their contribution and ensure they are fairly rewarded.
Profile
- Qualified accountant with knowledge of finance operational and reporting processes.
- Technical skills and knowledge of accounting and reporting processes in a financial services organisation.
- Leadership - drive staff to a common goal whilst holding them accountable for day to day delivery
- Stakeholder management.
- Communicating complex accounting procedures and principles with multiple stakeholders across the business and influencing outcomes.
- Strong facilitation skills.
