Commercial Financial Controller

Partner Financial are working exclusively with a dynamic, c£8m turnover group now scaling up its retail business. It is a private business with large blue-chip client base and a true innovator within their space. They are seeking to build enterprise value through strong and profitable business growth toward a potential exit. 

THE ROLE 

You will take full responsibility for all aspects of commercial reporting, pricing and steering of performance for the business through Senior Leadership and supporting the Group Managing Director in driving the strategic direction of the business.   

• Business planning and monthly forecasting
• Group and Board reporting
• Performance and KPI analysis
• Pricing and customer contract reviews
• General ledger and monthly close
• Audit and annual accounts
• Tax management and reporting
• Supplier management and cost control
• Finance systems and improvements (Paprika but want to migrate to Xero)
• Leadership of a small team (FM, FA and external accounting and Payroll providers)

 THE CANDIDATE

• A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with relevant post qualified experience
• ‘Hands on’ with proven experience in the SME and scale-up environments
• Previous experience in FMCG / Sales / Retail / Consumer driven businesses with a strong weighting towards commercial accounting and performance analysis
• Experience within an International setting would be useful
• Candidates who are immediately available or on 1-month max notice are highly desirable
