An exciting and thriving local business in St Austell, Cornwall is looking for a Management Accountant to join its team on a permanent basis. Full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.
This is a crucial role in which you will be responsible for controlling and managing the day-to-day general accounting of the business.
Main Responsibilities
Core responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:
- Production of monthly actual costs and forecasts.
- Working with the accounting team to deliver P&L month and project cost and revenue forecasts.
- Assistance in the production of actual cost applications of payment to the Client.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Identifying and improving cost collection and attribution processes to ensure effective information is provided to aid decision making.
- Liaising with external auditors and addressing queries.
- VAT Returns.
- Run Payroll, PAYE and Pensions.
About You
In order to be considered for this Management Accountant role you must have the following:
- AAT or part qualified CIMA / ACCA or ACA.
- Previous experience of working in a similar position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- The ability to work autonomously, as well as being able to function effectively as part of a wider team.
Salary
On offer for the Management Accountant will be £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
