Finance Director

Innovative PE Backed Retail business seeks highly skilled FD to partner with the CFO having overall responsibility for the finance and operations function and have a strong presence in professionalising, leading, and implementing all controls, processes, and procedures in order to drive growth for the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in an exciting niche sector organisation, taking full responsibility for all financial processes, building and managing the finance function, recruitment of further team members, compliance, risk analysis and overseeing the presentation of reports to the board. You will also be working alongside the rest of senior executive team to formulate and strategize continued growth of the business.

The ideal candidate will be qualified accountant and having previous experience of working in a PE Backed business is ideal and time spent in the retail, wholesale and/or online multisite business across international markets is preferable but not essential as either a number one or number two or have been an autonomous FD hands-on experience and strong analytical and quantitative skills. This is a real opportunity for an ambitious candidate on an upward trajectory looking to make the first step in to the FD role in a PE Backed Retail business.
