Head of Finance

Partner Financial are working with a highly successful private Venture Capital firm based in Central London. The firm invest in next generation developments across a variety of Consumer brands globally.

This opportunity has been created due to a record number of investments and a huge year of growth for the portfolio. Reporting to the CFO, you help with investor reporting and day-to-day financial operations. This role will give great exposure to some of the fastest growing companies globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Owning the operational cash flow of the Group, from investments to monthly financials of portfolio brands
• Driving quality accounting policies and reporting across the business, improving consistency and quality for portfolio brands
• Ensuring all compliance and regulatory commitments are being adhered to across the portfolio
• Owning the Governance framework and managing all audit obligations across the Group
• Preparing the group monthly consolidation to ensure the management accounts are produced on a timely basis to key stakeholders
• Ensuring the groups maintains compliance with US GAAP, including the adoption of new standards and changes to existing standards
• Overseeing the production of the Group’s annual financial statements and ensure they are signed and filed to meet bank and regulatory deadlines
• Working with third-party advisors to ensure timely and accurate reporting across indirect and direct tax

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) from a Top 20 Practice
• Previously worked in a fast-paced, high growth companies
• Ability to identify and drive efficiencies and process improvements
• Excel proficient and experience in implementing new accounting systems
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
