Finance Manager

A leading global business solutions corporate that is focused on quality engagement and long-term relationships within their specialised field is looking to hire a Finance Manager. This full-time, permanent role in Reading has come about due to a broad restructure across finance and will have a focus on reporting to the US parent.

Your New Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• The statutory accounting and tax reporting for the European subsidiaries across the division, including UK statutory accounts.
• Managing the external audit process.
• Providing technical accounting guidance and ad hoc project support where required.
• Managing and developing a small team.

About You

Applications to this Finance Manager role are invited from ACA and ACCA qualified Accountants who demonstrate:

• Strong accounting and technical expertise, most likely from a chartered environment.
• Knowledge of SOX, experience of preparing statutory accounts and ideally providing guidance in relation to US / European GAAPs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to partner across the business and manage and lead the team.
