Resourcery Group are supporting a Housing Association to bring on board a qualified accountant as their Finance Manager for a maternity cover contract for 9 months. Working as part of the finance management team you will provide direction and leadership, ensuring financial viability and integrity in the numbers.

The role:
- To provide effective management and control of financial accounting activities such as external statutory and regulatory reporting. tax and treasury, transactional finance and payroll
- Manage the loan portfolio and borrowing strategies, cash flow forecasting and banking
- Prepare the consolidated accounts and liaise with auditors
- Long range business planning and forecasting
- Budgeting
- Oversee the management of fixed assets, grants and capital accounting
- Control of the balance sheet reconciliations
- Tax compliance, VAT returns
The ideal candidate:
- Must be a fully qualifid accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Have experience of producing financial statements and satisfying audit requirements
- Have prior experience of managing a team
