Finance Manager – Manufacturing - Preston

Axon Moore have been retained to work with an owner managed, £18 million+, Manufacturing business based in North Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to work under an ACA qualified Managing Director, in a role which offers a clear succession plan to move to Financial Controller in the next 12 months.

The role will include:

• Preparing the full monthly Board reports including operational/commercial insight to the Directors
• Preparation of year end statutory accounts and working on the relationships with auditors
• Finance business partnering with all support functions including MD, Commercial and Operations.
• Overseeing all aspects of the monthly and annual reporting process
• Having a very hands on approach leading the full Finance function
• Managing a team of 4+

You will be a Fully Qualified Accountant from either an ACA, CIMA or ACCA background. Experience of working in a manufacturing company isn’t essential but the understanding of how a manufacturing company operates is crucial.
