Interim Management Accountant 12m FTC

Working for a well-established and highly regarded Leeds based business, This role is a new role working in the central reporting team for this highly innovative organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualified Accountant to join for an initial 12 month fixed term contract. While the role will be initially be based entirely remotely, there will be a need to attend site as the team moves back into the offices although this would not be for 100% of the time. The role will work closely with the Senior Reporting Manager to contribute to the preparation of financial forecasts across a number of areas. Key responsibilities will include
*Preparation of Monthly Financial Management Information and quarterly forecasting
*Detailed variance analysis
*Contribute to the production of year-end accounts, compliant with FRS 102
*Budget preparation working closely with budget holders across the business
*Develop & maintain strong working relationships with Finance colleagues and Senior stakeholders across the business
*Delivery of best practice to support the design, delivery, testing and implementation of any new processes and systems improvements
This role requires an individual who can demonstrate not only strong technical accounting and IT skills, but excellent communication and a flexible and positive approach.
