Resourcery Group are recruiting on behalf of a £multi-billion turnover, listed, global manufacturing business based in the North Wales/Chester area who are currently looking to hire an experienced operational Site Finance Manager. Reporting to the Finance Director (EU) and working closely with the site GM, the Finance Manager manages a small but very capable, divisional finance function of 4 heads, a mix of qualified and transactional level staff. As the No.1 finance representative on site for the division, the Finance Manager assumes full full responsibility for the timeliness and accuracy of the month end close – P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow and reporting of business KPI’s. Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and managing accounting organisation, ensuring they are fully compliant with current finance procedures and systems.
- Management of information with third parties
- Cash and P&L management
- Management of financial resources
- Management of investment budgets
- Financial planning and analysis (MTP, budget, 3-month forecast)
- Risk management
- Ensuring optimum tax modalities
- Maintain good working relationships with interest group, both external and internal
- Presentation of financial data in meetings and where necessary/ required
- Active participation in continuous improvement projects
- SOX compliance, including 302 certifications
- ERP (BPCS) analysis
- New project screening
- Monthly Ops reviews
- IFRS accounting
- Tax legislation
The successful candidate will need to be:
- CIMA/ACA or ACCA qualified with suitable experience gained within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- A proven leader with previous staff management experience, able to train & develop a small finance team to streamline processes & procedures
- Able to ensure delivery of real time management information to the Leadership Team
- Possess a confident & challenging personality, working as a pro-active member of the Senior Management Team
- Able to evidence previous experience of tightly managing supply chain processes, working capital and receivables.
