Semi Senior Accountant - Healthcare

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be working alongside a market leading accountancy firm as they look to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join their high performing healthcare team.

As a Semi Senior Accountant you will be working alongside the senior team and report into one of the team's managers who will provide one to one mentoring and a fantastic development plan offering you the opportunity to significantly develop your skills and take on additional responsibilities.

The position would suit an ambitious finance professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience within practice, strong communication skills, experience preparing year end accounts and working with personal tax returns.

As well as an initial salary of £20,000 you will be eligible for a salary review after your first six months and will be offered a fantastic study support plan including all exams and material paid for, training days and time off per exam.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Completion of GP practice accounts from a variety of medical accounts packages and client records
* Completion of Limited Company accounts
* Tax computations (partnership and corporate)
* Personal tax returns
* Calculation of annual allowance charges
* Communication with clients
* Training and assistance to other team members

The successful candidate will be:

* At least 2 years' experience in Practice
* Experience of taking on accounts and completing for review
* Good IT skills, including experience of using different accounting packages
* Strong communication skills
