Senior Financial Accountant

International IT consultancy business based in Bradford with excellent commuter links from Leeds and surrounding areas currently require an ACA/ACCA qualified Financial Accountant to join their expanding accounts function in a newly created role.

The business has experienced significant growth over the last three years and due to recent new contract wins they are looking to bring in an ambitious career focused financial accountant/first mover from practice.

Working closely with the Financial Controller and a dynamic career minded team of qualified Financial Accounts/Management Accounts you will initially be involved with:

* Monthly Group Consolidation ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
* Preparation and analysis of Quarterly Reporting packs to Group.
* Annual Statutory Accounts for Subsidiary Companies.
* Supporting key stake holders within the organisation providing financial and technical support.
* Consolidation of Quarterly Forecasts contributing to the annual budget.
* Working to IFRS & UK GAAP accounting requirements.

Ideally you will be ACCA/ACA qualified with previous experience within a financial accounting/reporting positions or looking to make your first step into industry. Previous experience working to IFRS and UKGAAP accounting requirements would also be advantageous however consideration will be given to any strong technical audit or financial accountant background.
