Senior Management Accountant, 12m FTC, London, £50-55k

A leading Information Services PLC, is searching for an experienced Management Accountant for a 12-month maternity cover period. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role offers a unique opportunity to join the Finance team as they re-energise and improve the foundations put in place by the existing team.

The role & responsibilities;

• Reporting directly to the Financial Controller
• Running the Management Accounts for the UK division
• Business partnering with Heads of Departments
•  Ensuring efficient cost management vs budget
• • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including the posting of corrections to be used as audit back up files
• Maintaining an accurate cashflow forecast on a weekly basis, flagging any changes or concerns to the Financial Controller in a timely manner
• Working closely with the finance team to maintain and refine all financial processes
• Assisting with the preparation of financial analysis

The person we are looking for;

• Qualified or very nearly Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Experience in using an established ERP – Microsoft BC experience advantageous
• Experience working within multi-site organisations would be beneficial, but is not essential
• A friendly and proactive demeanour
• Reliable, in terms of quality and quantity of work as well as timekeeping and attendance
• Good team player
• Strong level of written and spoken English
