Management Accountant, Media, 6month FTC, up to £50k

Our leading Media client is seeking a newly qualified/ finalist Management Accountant to oversee the management accounts process for several creative agency entities.  The role sits within the FR&A (financial reporting and analysis) team and will report into the Financial Controller. 

We are looking for someone with strong core management accounts knowledge, with experience of working to tight deadlines and who can hit the ground running. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and associated monthly management reporting pack;
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to Group in accordance with group deadlines and policies;
• Ensure key balance sheet items are reconciled and understood;
• Work with off-shore transactional support team;
• Respond to ad hoc queries from directors and other stakeholders;
• Involvement in the annual budgeting process and in reforecasting activities;
• Prepare reporting packs for bi-annual talent meetings;
• Liaise directly with auditors to ensure relevant information is provided and annual audit is delivered on time;
• Assist with maintenance and implementation of financial controls;

Essential Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

• Fully qualified or Finalist accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• The ideal candidate will have previous management accounting experience for a creative/mar comms agency;
• Ideally have Paprika experience
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills and competent using other Microsoft Office programmes;
• Familiarity using accounts packages;
• Confident communicating with team members and the wider business, including senior stakeholders;
• A motivated and diligent individual who is happy to take direction or take the lead depending on the circumstances;
• Somebody who is energetic, and enjoys life and what they do.
