Our client is a highly successful and rapidly growing logistics business which has recently attracted private equity investment.  The business has ambitious growth plans, including overseas and the US in particular, and the current circumstances of the pandemic mean that such growth and expansion is very achievable. The business is known for high service levels and innovation in a sector that is increasingly essential for a variety of product groups.  Ideal candidates will have worked previously in a PE backed business and will have experience of M&A at a senior level.  They will have also worked in a high growth tech-enabled business - ideally with recurring/subscription revenue where contract negotiation and service delivery is key.  In addition experience of e-commerce and/or supply chain/logistics would be ideal as would an understanding of the key characteristics of a manufacturing business.   This is an incredibly exciting role for an ambitious FD/CFO who is willing, and able, to dive in to establishing robust systems, processes and controls of an organisation whilst also adding strategic value at Board level.
