Director of Finance

Director of Finance | London (North), London (Greater) | From £90,000 - £100,000 per anuum plus benefits | Leisure / Health / Fitness

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Finance will be primarily responsible for commercially and positively challenging the Board as the business enters an exciting period of growth whilst maintaining the integrity of day to day finance operations.

Director of Finance Responsibilities:

• Support the CEO and executive team to report and achieve the performance targets of the business and identify any risks or opportunities via accurate financial reporting
• Facilitate best in class future planning with all Department Heads
• Investigate and propose new opportunities to secure investment and grow the business beyond the current brand
• Owning the financial and commercial modelling and forecasting activity for the business
• Implementing new KPIs and performance metrics geared towards maximising income
• Ensuring all financial and statutory regulations are met
• Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company
• Introduce and implement a robust internal audit programme
• Shape, support and coach the finance team

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Excellent academic record of achievement
• Demonstrable experience of scaling and growing businesses
• Previous multi site experience advantageous
• Strong technical skills in conjunction with a customer centric, strategic mindset
• Driven, aspirational individual - on the upward curve and looking to become a future CFO
• Exceptional leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
• Emotionally intelligent - able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
• Highly proficient with financial systems and modelling
