Part Qualified Management Accountant

Axon Moore is currently representing a highly successful professional services business based in Leeds city centre. Due to enormous growth and success in recent years they are now looking for a bright and ambitious Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is part way through their CIMA or ACCA qualification and is looking for the next challenging step in their career. Full study support will be provided alongside excellent mentoring and progression opportunities.

As the Part Qualified Management Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the production of month end management accounts including analysis and commentary
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare accruals & prepayments
• Reconcile intercompany transactions
• Assist in the production of budgets and forecast
• Oversee the transactional side to ensure work is accurate, queries are resolved and ensure invoices are raised on time
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Liaise with external auditors and support the audit process
• Assist Finance Manager in project work & ad hoc tasks

 

Experience/skills required:

• You will be studying towards ACCA / CIMA
• Already working in a similar role of Assistant Management Accountant / Part Qualified Management Accountant  
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
• You will be deadline driven and have excellent work ethic
