Your new firm
This reputable and growing Regional firm of Chartered Accountants are looking to recruit two ACA / ACCA finalists or recently qualified accountants to join their corporate services team as Audit Seniors based out of their Northwich office. These opportunities have arisen due to a year of growth and new business wins which has created a large pipeline of work for 2021.

The firm are offering a permanent hybrid working solution whereby when restrictions are lifted you will only be required in the office 2-3 days a week.

Your new role
As an Audit Executive you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of statutory audit assignments along with some accounts work too. Your client base will be varied and include OMBs, group structures, international businesses and UK subsidiaries of foreign owned businesses with turnovers up to 100 million. As an Audit Senior you will be responsible for planning the audit assignments, delegating and reviewing fieldwork, managing the client relationship and be involved in the completion and audit close meeting.

Over time you will develop your own portfolio of clients, taking on more of a managerial / review role and progress through to Audit Manager. As an audit senior you will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement splitting your time between client site, the office and working from home.

What you'll need to succeed
The Audit Partner is looking to recruit a bright and personable accountant who is ideally ACA / ACCA qualified or approaching qualification and lives locally to Northwich. You must have gained exposure to all aspects of the audit process and have undertaken a role where your workload has been weighted at least 40% towards audit assignments.

This is a well recognised firm which prides itself on good client service therefore you must be able to demonstrate strong technical skills and good communication skills. The firm are keen to promote internally and therefore an ambitious audit senior would be preferable.
