Group Financial Accountant - ACA
Group Financial Accountant required for highly profitable and reputable business based near Liverpool. This business is known as a leader in their industry and has an excellent reputation. The successful candidate will be offered first class progression and development opportunities in a varied and interesting role.
This would suit an ambitious and driven ACA qualified accountant, ideally with a large practice background.
The Group Financial Accountant is responsible for assisting the Group Financial Controller in reporting the group management accounts, management of the year end audit process, completion of reporting to the wider group and taking a lead with the external auditors.
They will assist the Group Financial Controller in providing technical leadership to the group function and provide critical financial support to the senor leadership team. The Group Financial Accountant will also be responsible for taking the lead on projects that produce process improvements within Finance in the UK and Internationally.
Key Requirements
Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA), ideally from a large practice background.
Substantial financial accounting experience gained within practice
Excellent communication and organisation skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
High attention to detail.
Ability to influence people across the team and at senior levels.
Project management skills.
Report writing
Presentation skills
