Your new company
Our client is family owned, well run and highly successful manufacturing company on the outskirts of Wigan. A small team of flexible people with great added value benefits. Therefore, they are seeking an experienced Accounts / Administration Clerk to play a key administrative role within the m team.

Your new role
This role allows interaction directly with the client and you will also retain the same clients to build up good customer relations with them. You will work closely with the sales team, starting from order processing all the way through to delivery note. Due to the company being in a position of growth they offer stability and development opportunities long term. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Raising Purchase Orders
  • Processing purchase invoices, reconciling to purchase orders, delivery and import documentation
  • Checking Transport and Duty invoices
  • Coding invoices
  • Preparing and processing multi-currency payment
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing new supplier account forms
  • To support with credit card reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Preparing and processing data
  • Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Providing administrative support for the Finance Department
  • Booking in containers - liaising with the warehouse
  • Booking in stock
  • Credit Control
  • Accounts based Admin
  • Assisting in Month and Year end work



What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel);
  • Be able to use Opera (not compulsory training will be given)
  • Good time management skills
  • Be able to prioritise different work loads
  • Be flexible like the company, they have busy periods so it will be expected during this period to ensure all work is completed even if overtime is needed
  • Attention to detail
  • Good Communication skills
  • Good understanding how to deal with clients
  • Proactive approach




What you'll get in return
