This firm are currently experiencing considerable growth and are therefore looking to recruit a Senior Tax Manager into their firm.

Your new role
In this South Manchester-based job as a Tax Senior Manager your main responsibilities in the job will include managing your own portfolio, made up of large, significant clients for the firm with some support from your subordinate managers, as well as it being largely autonomous. You can expect to be involved in projects relating to; Company restructuring, Mergers and acquisitions, Due diligence, Entrepreneurial relief, Capital loss relief (rules), Valuations, some Private Client interaction work including share-holder issues, capital gains tax, exit strategies, IHT and other adhoc duties. With growth plans underway, cross-selling of firm services may also be a key aspect of this job. This role may well transgress into that of a leadership position as the tax department are considering succession planning over the course of the coming years.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this Manchester-based Senior Tax Manager job opportunity, you will have experience of offering tax planning advice to a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients at a high level and be an ambitious individual, keen to thrive within a collaborative work environment to maintain excellent standards of client care. An ability to recognise and spot opportunities to facilitate an increase in the departments fee income would make you highly qualified for a role of this nature. You will have excellent communication skills and ideally be ATT/CTA qualified.
