Your new firm
A leading independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors with offices based across the North West are looking to appoint a qualified accountant to join their growing corporate services team in Bolton as an Audit Executive following two years of sustained growth. This is a great job opportunity for a newly qualified accountant looking to progress their career, work with interesting clients and develop their commercial acumen.

This firm are currently working remotely however as restrictions ease they will operate a permanent hybrid working solution whereby office working is only required part of the week.

Your new role
As an audit executive you will be responsible for leading on a range of audit and accounts assignments with a focus on Growth & Entrepreneurial clients. The team work closely with the Corporate Finance department and alongside your day to day duties listed below you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to cashflow forecasting and due diligence.

Your key audit duties will include planning the audit assignments, overseeing and reviewing the audit fieldwork, supervising an audit team out on site and taking a lead on the reporting and closing of the assignments, attending client meetings. Other job duties will include the preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies and liaising with the tax department in relation to tax compliance and advice.


What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant but will also consider an audit senior that is qualified by experience and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of leading both statutory and non-statutory audit assignments. You will work closely with your clients, developing your advisory skills and therefore the firm are seeking an ambitious auditor who can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a commercial acumen.
