Corporate Tax Assistant Manager/ Manager

My clients are a mid-tier firm with offices around the UK as well as globally as part of their wider network. Due to growth in their client base, they are seeking to add to their tax team in Birmingham. This is an accountancy practice with a varied client base from large international groups through to owner managed businesses.


Your new role
The successful individual will manage a portfolio of OMB clients undertaking a range of tax work. This will include managing the compliance process and reviewing returns, undertaking advisory work, identifying tax planning opportunities and liaising with clients in relation to their tax affairs. You will support the development of the team and will work with other areas of the business - audit and accounts to ensure clients receive a rounded service.

What you'll need to succeed
You will possess relevant corporate tax experience working with OMB clients within an accountancy practice. The ideal candidate will be at Assistant Manager level seeking a step up to Manager. You will hold accountancy/tax qualifications (ACA/ ACCA/ ATT/ CTA) and will have gained exposure to a broad spectrum of tax matters - ideally both compliance and advisory work within corporate tax.
