Financial Planning Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Planning Manager to drive forward a successful fast-paced manufacturing business based in East Yorkshire. A competitive salary of between £45,000 to £60,000 depending on experience, is on offer for this role, as well as; on-site parking, 33 days holiday plus benefits

Key responsibilities will include:

• Understanding the data requirements of the business and senior management team
• Production of high-quality budgets and forecasts - relating them to the overall business strategy including cash flow, sales, margins, overheads and balance sheet
• Management and reporting of R&D Tax claims
• Production of regular rolling forecasts
• Implement and manage the management information strategy for the business
• Develop commercial analysis including gap, pricing and tendering
• Work closely with the operations team on standard costing, variance analysis, working capital and capital investment

To be successful in this Financial Planning Manager position we are looking for the following skills:

• CIMA / ACCA or ACA qualification
• Financial planning experience within a commercial environment
• Strong financial modelling skills using Excel Pivot Tables, Sumifs, V Look-Ups etc
• Ability to assimilate large amounts of data into meaningful analysis
• Analytical and mathematical mindset, with a problem-solving approach
• Excellent communication skills to work closely with the wider team

We are keen to hear from you if you are CIMA, ACCA or ACA (ICAEW) qualified and have previous experience in a Financial Analyst, FP&A Analyst, FP&A Manager, Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant role
