Interim FP&A Manager

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Interim FP&A Manager to support a busy manufacturer on a 3-6 month fixed term contract based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. On offer is a competitive salary of between £45,000 to £60,000 depending on experience. Some temporary home working due to Covid restrictions.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Understanding the data requirements of the business and senior management team
• Production of high-quality budgets and forecasts - relating them to the overall business strategy including cash flow, sales, margins, overheads and balance sheet
• Management and reporting of R&D Tax claims
• Production of regular rolling forecasts
• Implement and manage the management information strategy for the business
• Develop commercial analysis including gap, pricing and tendering
• Work closely with the operations team on standard costing, variance analysis, working capital and capital investment

To be successful in this Interim FP&A Manager position we are looking for the following skills:

• CIMA / ACCA or ACA qualification
• Financial planning experience within a commercial environment
• Strong financial modelling skills using Excel Pivot Tables, Sumifs, V Look-Ups etc
• Ability to assimilate large amounts of data into meaningful analysis
• Analytical and mathematical mindset, with a problem-solving approach
• Excellent communication skills to work closely with the wider team
