A leading listed real estate business based in Central London are looking for a newly/ recently qualified ACA accountant to join in a varied role, perfect for a first introduction to an in-house environment.
This reputable firm is expanding their UK property portfolio across high profile assets in prime London locations, and as a result is growing its finance team with the addition of this newly created role. They are seeking motivated candidates who want to utilise their audit skills in a listed finance department, with the ambition to progress on throughout the company to business partnering, FP&A, investor relations, treasury, or progressing to a management positions. With an impressive track record of internal progression, the company are supportive and will train you in any commercial aspects whilst you utilise your technical understanding and communications skills.
Role
- Overseeing day to day finance matters for group of entities including working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Acting as subject matter expert and point of contact for fund managers internally for those entities as well as external advisors and partners
- Preparation of management accounts including coordination information from the wider group and providing information for quarterly board packs
- Analysis of performance versus budget/ forecast to provide to wider finance team
- Calculation of the quarterly dividends/distributions to shareholders, and funding requirements. This involves jointly forecasting expenditure with the asset managers and property analysts, negotiation of funding approaches with Corporate Finance and JV partners, and presentation to the JV Board
- Ad hoc work supporting other divisions including tax, treasury and capital markets
Benefits
